Platform on architecture, interior design and landscape architecture
Window treatments have long since ceased to be merely a functional solution for light control and privacy. In a carefully designed interior, they are a defining element of the architecture and contribute to the atmosphere, character, and identity of a space. With the story ‘A True JASNO,’ JASNO underscores its position as a specialist in shutters and blinds: a brand where craftsmanship, technical expertise, and custom work come together. Not a passing trend, but a timeless choice for interiors that retain their value for years—and even generations.
Since its founding in 2001, JASNO has been building a strong reputation in the field of high-quality window treatments. The philosophy is clear: true quality lies in the details. This is evident in the precision with which every component is designed, the care with which each product is crafted, and the personal attention that goes into every project. A genuine JASNO product is therefore more than just window treatments: it is a distinctive interior element that enhances the look and feel of a home.
“Twenty-five years ago, JASNO pioneered the European shutter market,” says sales manager Harold Peters. “Since then, many other providers have entered the market, often focusing on the lowest price. Our story clearly shows what sets a genuine JASNO product apart: 25 years of experience, superior quality, personalized service, and an exceptionally long lifespan. A shutter is more than just a product; it’s a lasting investment in comfort, style, and quality of life.”
That added value starts with customization. Every home is unique and requires a solution that complements its architecture, natural light, and interior style. That’s why JASNO goes beyond standard solutions. “Even with non-standard dimensions, unusual window shapes, or specific design requests, we provide suitable solutions,” says Peters. “Thanks to our many years of experience and in-depth product knowledge, we create shutters that are a perfect technical and aesthetic fit for the space.”
JASNO Shutters are crafted from sustainable Paulownia wood: a strong and lightweight wood that is ideally suited for high-quality custom applications. This allows architects, interior designers, and end users to enjoy maximum design freedom. From a variety of slat widths, finishes, and closure options to a vast selection of colors in lacquer, stain, or oil finishes.
In addition, custom RAL, NCS, and F&B colors can be created, allowing the natural wood grain to remain visible as desired. This ensures that every JASNO product can be fully tailored to the desired ambiance and interior style. From understated elegance to a bold statement: every project is designed as a unique, custom solution that complements both the home and its residents.
Behind the scenes, too, JASNO operates according to its own quality standards. The shutters are manufactured in China on a dedicated production line, where production workers focus exclusively on the production of JASNO Shutters. “Our shutters have different specifications than standard products on the market. That’s why employees are specifically trained to work according to our quality and product specifications,” says Peters. “Furthermore, all system components are manufactured using our own JASNO molds. This allows us not only to monitor quality but also to guarantee the long-term availability of replacement parts. The products are transported to the Netherlands by train, which ensures a consistent, efficient, and sustainable transportation solution.”
The combination of design, technology, and craftsmanship makes JASNO shutters a distinctive feature of any interior. The refined lines, high-quality finish, and precise detailing create a timeless look. At the same time, the shutters influence the experience of a space by controlling the interplay of light and shadow. This not only enhances comfort but also creates an interior with character.
At the inspiration center in Eersel, architects, designers, and clients can fully experience the possibilities JASNO has to offer. This is where craftsmanship, design, and personalized guidance come together. Thanks to an extensive dealer network across Europe, JASNO’s expertise is always close at hand.
You can recognize a genuine JASNO product by the details: perfectly fitting panels, harmonious lines, and a finish that’s precise down to the millimeter. But above all, by the way the product becomes one with the space—not as an afterthought, but as an integral part of the interior design. “In a market where many solutions focus on speed and price, we consciously choose lasting value,” Peters concludes. “A genuine JASNO stands for timeless design, personalized advice, and craftsmanship that remains both visible and tangible. It’s an investment in an interior that not only makes an impression today but gains even more significance over the years.”
