Acoustic open plenum solutions add color and tranquility to any space

Practical ceiling islands

The frameless Rockfon Eclipse ceiling islands have been a great success for years. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, they provide high light reflection thanks to their extremely white surface. They are also very suitable for buildings with concrete core activation.

Using various types of suspension sets - matching different interior styles - installation is quick and easy. The ceiling islands are therefore an ideal solution if acoustic additions prove necessary after the completion of a project. Vertical mounting of the islands is also possible, allowing them to function as acoustic wall panels. By placing the islands alternately 15 and 65 mm from the wall, using special suspension brackets, a playful design can be created.

NEW: Rockfon Eclipse Colour

This fall, Rockfon introduces the new Rockfon Eclipse Color islands, which come standard in eleven Color-all colors and two shapes (square and circle). The colors come from the updated Rockfon Color-all range, featuring ceiling tiles in 34 colors inspired by nature, introduced earlier this year. These new Color-all ceiling tiles make it easy to add color to any room.

The new range of ceiling islands consists of the eleven beautiful natural shades Coral, Mustard, Storm, Eucalyptus, Seashell, Azure, Sage, Sand, Charcoal, Concrete and Gravel. The subtle colors provide warmth and match the latest design trends. In addition, the ceiling islands are available to order in any NCS color thanks to the Rockfon Color-all Special program. This option, where the panels are sprayed on demand, is perfect for very specific color requirements.

Creative baffles

Another open plenum solution from Rockfon is the acoustic baffle. Unlike the ceiling islands, it is installed vertically and is available with or without a steel frame. Also with this acoustic solution, easy access to the installations in the ceiling is maintained and various mounting options are available, such as a suspension rail or Design or Classic suspension wire. 

In addition to the Rockfon Universal Baffle (available in white and 33 Rockfon Color-all colors), special versions of the baffles are available for demanding industrial and wet areas, in combination with various corrosion-resistant (ECR) suspension systems.
