The collection includes four different patterns that allow architects and designers to apply traditional parquet patterns on an extra large scale, with all the benefits of vinyl...
At the heart of Aspecta Contours is an 8 mm thick and multilayer Isocore™ (LTV) designer click flooring with high-quality surface textures (emboss) and superior colors and designs. Architects, designers and end customers can choose from as many as eight hip and trendy decors, in four sensational sizes:
"At 1.20 meters long, Chantilly is an oversized interpretation of the classic herringbone floor," says Vice President of Marketing Gitty Gommers. "The herringbone plank creates not only a subtle and modern motif, but also a calming effect thanks to its visual scale and slow movement." Those who prefer an impressive and grand effect choose Chambord, she says. "The result of this floor is truly stunning. Especially when the planks are placed in the lighter, trendy shades."
Tarascon is the classic Basketweave and most traditional plank from the Aspecta Contours collection. To ensure a high-quality look and quick installation, eight small pieces of vinyl are pre-assembled on an Isocore™ board 1.40 meters long and 30 cm wide.
"The look like a woven basket has a strong Scandinavian influence, but more relaxed and casual," Gommers said. "Within the Tarascon design, it's all about hygge: a Danish lifestyle that embraces all the things that make life a little easier, cozier and more meaningful." Finally, Versailles is a patented concept in which as many as 12 smaller chevrons are pre-assembled on an Isocore™ base. "This plank has a classic look, with the grandeur of the past. The stylish design look with European character creates impact everywhere. Very much so in commercial settings such as stores, restaurants and hospitality environments."
The entire Aspecta Contours collection comes in-register. This ensures authenticity and a look and feel that cannot be distinguished from real wood. At the same time, the floors have all the advantages of vinyl," says Gommers. "For example, the floors are dimensionally very stable. The floorboards do not shrink or swell with changes in temperature or humidity. In addition, the floors are considerably faster to install than wood. Installation on top of an existing stone or wood floor is not a problem, which provides great benefits in the project market. After all, significantly less downtime/downtime needs to be factored in."
The multilayer floors are finished with a 0.55 topcoat coated with Aspecta's Duraspect™. "This topcoat provides unmatched abrasion and stain repellent properties. In addition, all of our multilayer floors feature an HDPE carpet pad (subfloor), which provides sound dampening and improves comfort underfoot." The collection is applicable in both residential and commercial markets and is proven to meet all standards.
