What is fiber cement?

Fiber cement is a mixture composed of natural components. In the production of fiber cement products, natural raw materials are used deliberately. SVK fiber cement products contain:

Cement (the base)
Cellulose fibers

PVA fibers (provide the "reinforcement" and thus strength of the board)

Fillers
Water

Even today, all SVK fiber cement boards are produced using the traditional Hatschek method. This is a production method that can create a product with the desired thickness and properties through the construction and pressing of individual layers, resulting in an ultra-stable, extra strong and durable end result. The resulting strong, versatile and thin material is perfect for applications such as facade or roofing

About slates

SVK's fiber cement slates for roof & facade combine the look of natural slates with the top quality of our fiber cement. Our slates are suitable for both roofing and cladding. There are different types of slates. Our slates are available in different sizes, colors and finishes. For both a hyper-modern and rather traditional look of your project. Our range includes Ardonit, Montana smooth, Montana structure, Fasonit Smooth and Fasonit Structure.

Fiber cement slates are extremely light, strong & dimensionally stable. Slates are a much lighter roofing material than many other building materials. Nevertheless, they do not lose strength and durability. Our slates are also used in regions with extreme weather conditions. The slates are machine-produced, so they are dimensionally stable in length, width and thickness. They require no prior sorting for thickness and can be installed immediately. This means a great saving of time and thus costs.

About corrugated sheets

In addition to traditional applications, corrugated sheets can also be used creatively for offices, commercial buildings, public buildings and even private homes. At SVK, we like to think along with you to suit your project. The corrugated relief of the sheets gives each project a unique look. Both facade and roof can be finished with our corrugated sheets.
