Design profiles for any design vision

New design profiles and expansion of working widths

Give every building and interior a unique look with SAB's high-quality metal design profiles. As we mentioned earlier in Archicomm, the SAB design profiles have recently been divided into the product families Essential (stylish and classic), Allure (character and appearance) and Architect (challenging and inspiring). As a result, architects, interior designers and other professionals can now see at a glance which variants of each product are available and make even better project choices. "The latest SAB-Vinex, SAB-Wave and SAB-Salsa profile series fall within the Allure and Architect families and have been developed very specifically to show something different from classic shapes," says De Vos. "Our architect visitor Amir Feizinezhad goes all over the country to introduce architects to our new profiles and the effect they create. Both on exterior facades and interior walls." 

Beautiful shape and shading

The SAB-Vinex profile is characterized by an asymmetrical shape and beautiful shading, where the viewing direction always provides a completely different expression. Especially in combination with the sun, says De Vos. "But also inside, this profile is a real eye-catcher. Not for nothing did we also apply the SAB-Vinex profile to the long wall of our own conference room in IJsselstein."

Surprising pot lid profile

With the SAB-Wave profile, SAB offers an exciting alternative to the familiar gunwale profile. "This profile is excellent to combine with our four new wood-look coatings Ivory White, Harvest Beige, Autumn Brown and Mystic Dark Brown," says De Vos. "In addition to horizontal mounting, vertical mounting is also possible, for an extra surprising effect." Both SAB-Vinex and SAB-Wave fall within the Allure family and are available in two (height) variants: SAB-Vinex 42/423, SAB-Vinex 59/413, SAB-Wave 25/512 and SAB-Wave 32/513.

Exciting combination of profile shapes

The SAB-Salsa 40/350 profile falls within the Architect product family and is distinguished by a cheerful and surprising mix of profile shapes that give the exterior facade or interior wall an unparalleled effect. "SAB-Salsa 40/350 combines a block, a triangle, a flattened triangle and an asymmetrical triangle, with each figure providing a unique shadow effect and color nuances," says De Vos. "Especially on larger surfaces, this creates a special dynamic that will appeal to many architects and clients."

New colors, variants and working widths

Also new to SAB-profiel's range are the five metallic coatings in the Colorcoat SDP 50 series, which take their names from famous world cities and towns. For example, facades can now be finished with TSN New York Anthracite or TSN Barcelona Blue. TSN Dubai Desert even gives building facades a golden glow, while TSN Florence Copper Bronze and TSN Vík Volcano allow for bronze or black metallic finishes, respectively. 

"What is also new is that our SAB-PZ 40/300 plank profile - which used to be made on the roll form line - is now produced in our own press shop," says De Vos. "This has improved the quality of the product. By popular demand, we have also expanded the Essential family - which includes the SAB-Pyramid point profiles and the SAB-Tribune pot lid profile - with new variants in a larger working width. This allows faster assembly without changing the architectural image." As an example, he cites the popular SAB-Pyramid 37/460, which is now also available in 37/920.
