Goemaat originated in Goedereede, where the plastics department is located. The aluminum plant can be found in Oud Gastel. Hasselmeijer: "Aluminum was an expansion of the assortment. This material is more exclusive than plastic and is used for more luxurious applications. This addition allowed us to offer more possibilities." For example, Goemaat provided the curtain wall for silver and goldsmith Ed Nobel in Spijkenisse.
After making a name for itself in Zeeland and North Brabant, the company now supplies throughout the Netherlands. "We offer the complete package, frames, but also glazing, flashings, flashings, grids, panels etc. We also take care of the assembly ourselves." The focus here is high quality.
"Our products meet the VMRG seal of approval, which stands for quality in facade construction. Many people logically look at the price, but quality and warranty are just as important to us. Customers regularly say: you guys are occasionally a little more expensive, but the quality is just very good."
Hasselmeijer continues: "Our aim is to constantly improve. Goemaat stands for innovation, both when it comes to production methods and the products themselves. Last year we invested in automated milling machines so that more operations could be machined. An automated sawing machine was also purchased at that time."
This is how the company continues to evolve.
