Innovative, fire-safe and circular cladding

Carpentier proudly presents the Uni Line system, featuring the revolutionary QuickClip® profile. Made of durable thermal ash, this system provides an aesthetically refined facade. In addition, the company thus offers circular solutions that meet the growing demand for sustainability in architecture.

The Uni Line profile, with its clean lines and transverse profiles, creates a modern relief without visible nails or screws. General Manager Heidi Carpentier: "Our circular cladding offers architects the opportunity to use color-

By optimizing the fastening system, it is possible to achieve original and seamless facade designs. The Uni Line system eliminates the need to glue transverse profiles, thanks to a clever alu block with groove, to which the profiles are easily attached. Installation is faster and more efficient thanks to the system, but the cladding can also be easily removed, refreshed and reused using disassembly keys. "With this, we are contributing to the growing demand for circular solutions in the construction industry."

Playing with dimensions and variations

Uni Line is available in two vertical design variations that refer to depths, Uni Line 40 QC and Uni Line 65 QC. The depth of the profile gives architects the freedom to play with dimensions and variations. "We can also finish the chosen thermo ash cladding completely as desired," says Heidi. "This can be done by means of pre-graying, brushing, burning or oiling, for example. In addition, we can treat the wood perfectly fire-retardant up to B-s1,d0 for closed profiles and up to B-s2,d0 for horizontal open profiles. We can of course back up this claim with test reports."

In addition to fire-retardant treatment for many different types of wood, Carpentier also offers HOTwood bamboo decking and bamboo cladding. "This meets fire class B and is a sustainable and ecological alternative to tropical hardwood. Our bamboo is available in the form of planks with tongue and groove. The uniqueness compared to other suppliers is again that we offer most profiles with our invisible fastening system." 

Thermal bamboo cladding has durability class 1 and also achieves fire safety class B-s1-d0 (EN 13501-1). This makes it suitable for cladding buildings with strict fire safety requirements, such as apartments and commercial buildings.

"Another ecological type of wood that we are increasingly using is Accoya. This is a fast-growing softwood that acquires the properties of hardwood through an acetylation process. Accoya wood achieves durability class 1 and is 100% rot resistant. It is also resistant to all extreme weather conditions and UV rays, making it ideally suited for facades."
