Expanding aluminum branch to accommodate growth

Goemaat BV offers a total solution for everything in and around the facade, both for plastic and aluminum window frames. The company continues to grow and is significantly expanding production at its Oud Gastel location to meet demand.

Goemaat originated in Goedereede, where the plastics department is located. The aluminum plant can be found in Oud Gastel. Gijs Adriaansen is head of aluminum sales: "We are incredibly busy, which is one of our challenges." Last year the company wanted to expand its operations throughout the Netherlands, but it has now chosen to keep its focus on Zeeland, North Brabant and the southern Netherlands. "This is simply because we have so much work."

Doubling production

For this reason, Goemaat plans to almost double production in Oud Gastel. "First the showroom and offices were already renovated. Now it's the production's turn. This is really necessary to cope with the flow." By realizing an extension, there will soon be more space to meet demand. "We are now in the preparation process," says Adriaansen. In addition to the volume of work, Goemaat is also dealing with rising raw material prices. "This makes it important to establish with the customer early on what is needed and how much it will cost."

Goemaat offers a complete range for the facade. Window frames, but also glazing, waterslides, flashings, grids, panels, etc. The company also takes care of assembly itself. Quality and reliability are key, according to Adriaansen: "We have many customers who want to work with us every time. Because of the short lines within our company, they always know who to contact. In addition, our production quality is good and our products meet the VMRG quality mark."

The first phase of the Arce Novum Terneuzen project was delivered in December. Goemaat supplied the plastic window frames commissioned by H4A Bouw. Pieter-Jan van Halum project manager of Goemaat Goedereede: "The profile used is Veka Sofline 82 NL Retro. The combination of the straight style with the bevelled threshold gives the house the retro look that fits in with Dutch building styles. The window frames were applied with the VEKA Spectral film in the color sepia brown. The unmatched matte optic gives the window a particularly high-quality effect. The paint surface is wear-resistant, is UV- and weather-resistant and is also resistant to stressful environmental influences."

Proudly, Van Halum says the homes were delivered in an exceptionally positive manner. "As many as five homes of this project were delivered without any completion issues. A top performance on which we would like to congratulate H4A and all other parties!"
