A solution to any cable issue

For the new library at the Neude in Utrecht, this resulted in specific connection points from the floor to the desk.

A library has long since ceased to be the place where only books are read and borrowed. Lectures take place, work and study take place. With all these different functions, it is important that the layout of a library can be easily (re)arranged. For the new Utrecht Library on the Neude, OCS provided several solutions. "We have a large assortment of items that we can deliver from stock," says Frederike van der Schaaf of OCS. "But customization is no stranger to us either. We are accustomed to thinking along with you in a focused way towards a suitable (customized) solution."

Custom configuration

In the library at Neude, people work and study. The top floor, for example, houses the City Study House. To provide visitors with a well-equipped workplace throughout the library, Bachmann Power Frame flush-mounted outlets were recommended as well as OCS Evia flush-mounted outlets. Van der Schaaf: "Both products can be put together completely as desired, both in color and in configuration of the connection points that include power supply, data and USB connections. The same applies to our OCS Velox floor boxes, which have been used here in various types. The floor finish is routed into the covers so that they blend unobtrusively into the interior design. The flexible jack-of-all-trades also has a large capacity and meets all safety requirements."

Cable management is here to stay. Office Cabling Systems provides solutions to get to work anywhere; in the office, at home or in a workshop. "Our products blend functionality, design and safety.
