In many well-known museums, such as the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, Sunshield systems have faithfully regulated daylight on a daily basis for many years. "For decades, we were a supplier for many renowned brands in the sunshade industry. Since about ten years we have started to design and produce total concepts for third parties," says Sunshield director Joost Bogaers.
"In 2017 it was decided to design, supply and install these total concepts under our own brand name. Initially on the residential market but pretty soon requests came in from the project market. In this we have now also built up a nice portfolio with many projects at home and abroad."
Our slat systems are ideally suited for daylight regulation for relatively large glass panes or unusual shapes, continues Bogaers. "We are often involved in a project at an early stage in order to get maximum benefit from our solutions. In doing so, we have been working exclusively in 3D for many years. Everything is custom-drawn to achieve a functional and aesthetically pleasing end result. Our people are driven professionals with a great passion for their work. We genuinely enjoy creating beautiful blinds/daylighting. Every day our designs are exchanged with architectural software such as Revit, Archicad and AutoCad. Thanks to the 3D visualizations, the customer actually sees what will be produced."
"The 3D drawings also form the basis for controlling the production and purchasing of parts from reputable and established suppliers. Therein lies directly our strength; we control the entire chain. The high quality standards are further guaranteed during assembly and final inspection in our own production hall in Raamsdonksveer, during on-site assembly, and during service and maintenance. In this case, we guarantee a ten-year performance guarantee."
