The EVO FLEX is one of the latest products and completes the EVO product family with a new series of line lighting, where all attention is focused on the light.

Wilbrand Menzo is Manager of Product Development at in-lite. "We see in architecture that light lines have been used in and around the house for a long time and with EVO FLEX we make the bridge to the outdoor environment. Line lighting is a good addition to our offering. The EVO HYDE 550 is a luminaire with its length of 55 cm comparable for certain applications, but with the EVO FLEX we offer even more flexibility in applications than before." 

There were several years between seeing the need and introducing the new fixture, because in-lite is emphatic about delivering quality. "To suit us, a fixture must meet our requirements in terms of ease of use, product and light quality. First of all, we did an extensive selection of the right components and providers, and then further developed them into an in-lite worthy product. This product is not a succession of light points, but provides an even line of warm white light; from the beginning to the end of the 'light snake.'"

Light quality and flexibility

The EVO FLEX is a highly flexible product that can be used in any shape, whether straight or curved. "The fixture is available in one, two or three meters and can be customized by being able to shorten it by 2.5 centimeters. This is possible because the LEDs are placed very close together." 

According to Menzo, EVO FLEX really focuses on the light image because it is not a traditional fixture. "This allows us to create a line of light, which is processed around borders, under plateaus or steps and even along pond edges, among other things. It is an ideal product for accentuating various elements. A terrace can be architecturally framed or a covered seating area can be provided with a relaxing atmosphere by hiding the light in the edge. If you use EVO FLEX as a direct light along the edge of a border, you can highlight ornamental grasses in a very atmospheric way." 

The EVO FLEX has been very well received in the market. "Our customers are very happy with it, light lines bring atmosphere and that suits current times. We see more and more the value of an atmospheric garden. Here, we think the light is even more important than the luminaire itself; we notice that this appeals to people." 

This year in-lite is also coming out with dimmable version and color light version of the EVO FLEX. They can be controlled with our in-lite SMART system, allowing users to set the light and programs via phone.
