"From our production center in Beek (Montferland), we supply frames, windows, doors, curtain walls and skylights for utility construction projects throughout the Netherlands and the German border region," says director Ton ten Brincke.
"Think for example of office buildings, industrial halls, healthcare institutions, government buildings, retail premises and showrooms. Our products carry the VMRG seal of approval and meet the highest standards of quality, safety, comfort and durability."
As a family business, Gevel Design Beek has an open structure, with short lines of communication, clear objectives and a long-term focus.
"Good quality control is almost a given in this context," Ten Brincke said.
"The market has a great need for quality assurance. Partly with the introduction of the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb) on the horizon, companies are busy recording and documenting quality. However, we started this movement years ago. For example, with our VMRG membership and seal of approval, which sets out technical, functional and aesthetic requirements for facades and facade elements. And also in the field of fire-resistant facades with hinged parts, we fully meet the current requirements. Thanks to an expansion of our quality control system and an entrance inspection by notified body SKG-IKOB Certificatie BV, in February 2020 we were already able to demonstrate that our aluminum production process meets the requirements of NEN-EN 16034. Later that year we also started the certification process for our steel production process. Last February we officially received the Certificate of Constancy of Performance for the production of fire and/or smoke resistant steel windows and doors."
