Flooring Specialist Forbo Flooring Systems today launches their new Allura collection of luxury vinyl tiles (LVT). The collection has been carefully designed with a focus on flexible laying and durability. With the new designs, Forbo also responds to current design trends and developments. The collection is available for both projects and consumers.
Inspiration for the new collection was drawn from a variety of sources. To this end, Forbo's Dutch design team analyzes notable international trends in terms of colors, materials and usage needs. This makes the range diverse, distinctive and applicable to all segments. The new vinyl tiles can also be combined with other collections, such as Tessera and Flotex textile floor coverings.
Forbo's design team says, "We strive to constantly innovate and differentiate our product range through design and function. This has resulted in a collection with more bold items and eye-catching designs for distinctive interior designs. Infinite creativity in floor designs is possible."
The collection offers multiple installation methods: bonded, tackified and loose lay. This allows one type of design to be installed anywhere, regardless of subfloor condition or available renovation time.
Forbo is constantly working on solutions for the future, working with industry to eventually make all products as circular as possible. The product design of this collection therefore takes long-term recycling into account here. For years, Forbo has been working with a recycling program where leftover cutting material from plants is returned. At the factory in Coevorden, these residual products are reprocessed into new floors. This option now also exists for end-of-life vinyl flooring.
The new Allura collection also includes a large proportion of 'loose lay solutions': glue-free floor coverings that are quick and easy to install while being reusable and/or recyclable. Finally, all products are manufactured with 100% green energy and product emissions are below the industry average.
