"Architect@Work is the ideal opportunity for us to showcase our craftsmanship and our latest innovations to an audience that has an eye for quality and design" says Rebecca van de Beek, Marketing Executive at EeStairs. At the trade fair in Rotterdam, EeSoffit™, with which the company guarantees a perfect seamless finish on the underside of stairs, will take center stage.
EeStairs is a well-known name in the architectural world. The company specializes in the worldwide supply of exceptional staircases. To this end, EeStairs offers a full in-house service, from technical drawing to wood and steel machining, and from software programming to assembly. Van de Beek emphasizes, "Our strength lies in the fact that we control everything ourselves. From Barneveld, we have full control over the production and installation process, which is crucial for the quality we deliver."
At Architect@Work, EeStairs' latest innovation took center stage. The EeSoffit™ system was specially developed to ensure a perfectly seamless finish on the underside of stairs, even for the most complex geometries such as spiral or elliptical stairs. "EeSoffit™ provides a solution to a problem that architects and designers often struggle with," says Van de Beek. "With this, we now also have the finishing of the stairs in our own hands, so we can guarantee our high quality here as well. It's the finishing touch that will still be beautiful in a few years."
EeSoffit™ is distinguished from traditional stucco, which is prone to cracks and other damage, by its stability and durability. "Our customers appreciate the fact that EeSoffit™ provides a stable and geometrically accurate finish that can also be installed much faster than traditional stucco." The material is water-based and contains no solvents, contributing to environmentally friendly construction practices. "In addition, this finish also contributes to the acoustics of the space."
A fine example of the practical application of EeSoffit™ can be seen in the Residence Flanders project, where an impressive staircase acts as a central architectural element in the interior. "At Residence Flanders, we were able to support the architect from the very beginning, resulting in a seamlessly integrated staircase that has become a true design object," Van de Beek says proudly. The staircase's design was complex, with flowing lines and a spiral shape that perfectly matched the project's aesthetic and functional requirements. The seamless underside of the staircase provides an elegant and sleek look.
"At Residence Flanders, we were given the perfect opportunity to demonstrate what EeSoffit™ is capable of," said Van de Beek. "The staircase is a great example of how aesthetics and technical perfection can go hand in hand." At Architect@Work, the company demonstrated how the new finish adds to the look of a staircase. "We create Beauty Between Levels," Van de Beek concludes. "And that is something we will never compromise on."
