Soundblox provides waterproof acoustics

In swimming pool D'Outre Meuse in Liège/Liège, Soundblox acoustic building blocks were chosen for optimization. The Soundblox blend completely into the beautiful design. You hardly notice them but you immediately notice the effect. Soundblox are increasingly used in swimming pools, both indoors and outdoors, as these acoustic blocks combine structural stability, robustness, weather resistance and excellent moisture and steam resistance. In addition, the blocks and are also resistant to chlorine fumes and other harmful elements. And to top it off, Soundblox are now available in a sustainable version and completely Circular, Cement-free and CO2-negative!

Soundblox Carbstone now absorbs sound as well as CO2.

With Soundblox acoustic building blocks, important aspects such as acoustics (both sound absorption and sound insulation) and fire resistance can be combined in one structural wall.

In swimming pools, room acoustics present an additional challenge due to the volume of the room and high walls. The high moisture content also places special demands on acoustic materials in connection with hygiene and the risk of corrosion and mold.

Yet in swimming pools in particular, room acoustics are crucial, and not just because of the pleasant room experience. Speech intelligibility is also crucial for both room experience and safety. Both are largely determined by room acoustics. Soundblox acoustic masonry blocks are made of concrete (and now also with Carbstone) and perfectly resistant to moisture, steam, chlorine vapor and corrosion. This makes these sound-absorbing blocks an ideal solution in any space where special conditions, such as extreme temperatures, challenge the materials to be used and where robustness is as important as room acoustics.

Soundblox fully circular, cement-free and CO2 negative

Soundblox is now available in Carbstone as a sustainable alternative to the traditional concrete version. These have the same positive properties as concrete but without the ecological disadvantages. Soundblox Carbstone are produced using a revolutionary production method in which CO2 is specially extracted from the air and used in production. As a result, these blocks absorb not only sound but also CO2. After installation (in the open air) they continue to absorb CO2 so that the wall hardens even further and the bearing capacity increases even further. During production, as much use as possible is also made of available solar energy to further reduce the ecological footprint of the production process.

With Soundblox Carbstone gives the concept of "sustainable construction" a whole new dimension that contributes to the climate transition.
