With over 15 years of knowledge and experience in LED lighting solutions, Cleary offers a custom solution for every project. Besides indoor retail projects and signing, Cleary is the address for dynamic architectural lighting, where the lighting supports, strengthens and enriches the aesthetic aspects of buildings, monuments and works of art. Nice references in this context are the Goudse Schouwburg and the KPN headquarters in Rotterdam.
"Lighting is an important component within architecture," emphasizes Marnix van Twist, owner of Cleary. "Building facades turn into true works of art at night, and buildings are truly brought to life thanks to our lighting architecture. Thanks to careful luminaire selection, the emphasis is placed on the architectural details and we turn every building into an eye-catcher."
"Our lighting technicians are happy to sit down with the architect and client to work with them to come up with a solution for architectural lighting," said Van Twist. "Based on the building as well as the aesthetic and technical requirements, we create a lighting design and various visualizations so that the lighting effect is clearly visible at night. We find that our clients really appreciate this. Where necessary, optimizations are made, after which we also take care of the complete realization. Entirely under our own management and/or in our client's project team and from assembly to adjustment and programming. If desired, we can also install the electrical installation. We also like to come back for periodic maintenance, so that building users and passers-by can enjoy the architectural lighting as long as possible."
"For the Goudse Schouwburg, we recently overhauled the existing light artwork on the facades," Van Twist explains. "This involved carefully removing the old technology with neon tubes and high-voltage transformers and replacing it with a high-quality and future-proof LED alternative. The overhaul was carried out not only with respect for the original lines on the facades, but also with attention to circularity. Indeed, by reusing all metal parts, significantly fewer new raw materials need to be used." In the new situation, RGBW LED lines were chosen that can be fully programmed and controlled remotely. "The LED lines are easy to implement dynamically, should the client require this."
In addition to LED light lines, Cleary's architectural lighting range includes an extensive range of outdoor luminaires. From small spotlights to imposing wide-beamers, which are installed in sophisticated positions. For example, Cleary was recently able to illuminate a monumental building in Oisterwijk with just five small emitters. "We recently entered into a partnership with leading Polish company Lira Lighting, which has further expanded our range of outdoor luminaires," said Van Twist. "With Lira Lighting, clients are not only assured of innovative, high-quality and sustainable lighting products, but also of European production."
For the headquarters of KPN in Rotterdam, Cleary has dismantled no less than 1,600 façade fixtures, overhauled them and fitted them with the latest RGB LED technology, so that here too sustainability and appearance come together perfectly.
