Retrieved from September 9 & 10, 2026 ARCHITECT@WORK Rotterdam opens its doors for the 11th time at Rotterdam Ahoy. Architects, interior designers, and other specifiers will discover a carefully curated selection of innovative products and materials, complemented by an inspiring program centered on the theme ‘Regenerative Architecture’.
Regenerative architecture goes beyond simply limiting negative impacts and explores how architecture can actively contribute to nature restoration, biodiversity, healthy living environments, and strong communities. In addition to innovative products, visitors can also find inspiration in an extensive program of events. The A@W ACADEMY features presentations by, among others, Werkstatt, Buro Harro, BNI, FAAM Architects, White Arkitekter, and 1op1 Academy.
Regenerative Biobased Exhibit by SuperBio’s – Discover how biobased materials and products from local manufacturers can contribute to healthy living environments, nature restoration, and a future-proof construction industry.
Project Wall by Studio Marco Vermeulen – The Generous Facade – Biobased and Nature-Inclusive demonstrates how facade systems can combine circularity, design freedom, and biodiversity.
Exhibition by Natrufied Architecture – Four projects illustrate how regenerative design is applied in practice, ranging from locally sourced building materials and nature-inclusive housing to living noise barriers and social collaboration.
Art by Jonas Vansteenkiste – Two works, *House Cluster #1* and *A House Is Not a Home (Housetrap)*, reflect on living, memory, and our image of the ideal home.
Bookshop by NAi Booksellers – A carefully curated collection of books on architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, and spatial planning.
ARCHITECT@WORK Rotterdam will take place on Wednesday, the 9th and Thursday, September 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Rotterdam Ahoy. Admission to the event is by invitation only, following pre-registration via the website.
