The two well-known furniture manufacturers Vepa the furniture factory and Drentea Future Office are moving forward together. They multiply strength, share knowledge and bundle craftsmanship in the conviction that this cooperation will be of great benefit to the brands, the people, the dealers and the market. Together, Vepa and Drentea are the only office furniture manufacturer that produces the complete range in the Netherlands, i.e. locally.

Time for the next step

Vepa and Drentea both started small. Drentea furniture makers at heart. With wood and steel, they conquered a place in the office furniture market. That market was wide, they did not often meet. But in recent years they have grown closer together.

Full of confidence, they are now taking a leap into a great, shared future. Doing business together, one total collection, combining knowledge and expertise ánd strengthening their passion for sustainability. One strong brand that can serve the market even more professionally.

Two locations, two directors, one strong organization

Vepa and Drentea continue together as one strong commercial organization. Bert Top and Janwillem de Kam together form the management board. The current production locations in Emmen and Hoogeveen will continue to exist and the commercial organizations will merge. This creates one strong team that will support the market in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and Ireland even better. The legal merger is expected to take place in 2021.
