The kitchen has gone through a huge metamorphosis over the years. Many years ago, the kitchen was invariably hidden away in a room separate from the daily action in the living room. Today, the very kitchen is the epicenter of activity. Every kitchen deserves a crown jewel and that, at least according to Quooker, is the kitchen faucet.
Functional and beautiful. These are the two characteristics that the Dutch manufacturer Quooker gives a kitchen faucet. Functional speaks for itself, just think of all the actions you do that require (a little) water. Washing hands came into the spotlight in recent months as one of the hygienic measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. But water is also needed to prepare the evening meal. And since the kitchen has become the centerpiece of a home and is therefore in the spotlight when visitors come over, the kitchen faucet must be beautiful. "The kitchen faucet simply has to be able to do 'everything,'" says one at Quooker. "And our faucet can do just that."
Cold, hot and boiling water, readily available, that's what we spontaneously think of when we think of Quooker. Those who install Quooker CUBE also get chilled and sparkling water on top. Quooker accomplishes this without taking up much space.
"A kitchen faucet is coming anyway and the reservoir for boiling water and the CUBE take up little space in the kitchen cabinet," explains the manufacturer. "In the Netherlands, one in three new kitchens comes with a Quooker faucet, Belgium is experiencing exponential growth."
An important aspect is and remains safety in use; after all, a Quooker faucet also provides boiling water. "The operation is childproof," the manufacturer reassures us. "A child cannot simply tap boiling water since it still requires a combination of actions to get it." Anyone who thinks a Quooker faucet is an energy guzzler is wrong. After all, Quooker calculated that it costs only 5 cents per twenty-four hours to have boiling water available all the time.
A kitchen faucet catches the eye, and then we all want it to look great. Quooker's design team therefore provides a whole range of different design finishes. "So there is a suitable Quooker faucet for every type of kitchen and for every taste," the manufacturer makes the case. "We always keep an eye on trends. Since the design is done in house, we can respond quickly to what is coming so we are always up to date." The newest finish in the range is called "brass patina. A faucet with this finish is a faucet whose appearance changes over the years under the influence of the outdoors and many touches. So a brass patina Quooker faucet is always a unique faucet that lives with the user.
