"As a result, producers also have to put more and more energy and raw materials into the roofing membranes. An undesirable situation, which RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart is efficiently combating."

This has resulted in an innovative and revolutionary product for the roofing industry, with brilliant performance as well as minimal resource consumption: RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart. 

"This 1.2 or 1.5 mm thin roofing membrane offers more than optimal waterproofing and mechanical and chemical resistance," emphasizes Bos. "A unique Solar Shield technology with special cool pigments additionally protects the roofing membranes from UV radiation and reflects it. This reduces the surface temperature of the roof and slows down the aging process. This makes RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart a thinner roofing membrane with a longer lifespan and much more durable than any plastic roofing membrane." 

Available in Cool Ivory and Cool Grey colors inspired by nature, the roofing membranes can be placed in any environment.

Thanks to its production process, resource policy and high SRI reflectance, RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart meets BREEAM, LEED and VERDE labels. At the end of its life cycle, the roofing membrane can be fully recycled. However, RENOLIT wanted to go even further and therefore decided, in cooperation with Treedom, to plant a tree for every three rolls of RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart sold to compensate for its small remaining ecological footprint.
