Two companies each with their own name and now located under one roof in Vaassen. Both specialized in heat technology; Instamat aimed at the private renovation market and Prenger with a clear focus on residential and commercial construction.
The possibilities in the renovated showroom are diverse. Brand: "Specialists such as contractors, architects and installers are cordially invited to come take a look and experience for themselves what is possible in the field of radiators and heating. We have set up the location so that they can spar and plan not only with us, but also with others. Many of our customers are focused on the private market and already have a showroom, but their range is often limited to six to ten radiators. With us, all of them are on display. Here our resellers can touch all the models and ask us all about the technical details and the various possibilities. We think that is important, especially if they are selling custom-made products."
The main part of Prenger's product range consists of everything related to radiators. "And Instamat is the main brand for Prenger with different products like electric, designer and project radiators. In total, it covers about three-fourths of Prenger's product range. The remainder includes distributor casings, built-in convectors, ceiling radiant profiles, rib tubes and Kermi therm-x2 radiators. We make the radiators in all kinds of shapes, which allows us to get it suitable for any interior. We maintain intensive contact with our production, for example for consultation in the case of challenges such as heating a listed church."
A real estate developer recently experienced this himself. "He bought a large Gothic church in Arnhem. The building has tall columns in the middle and a high roof. It will house a museum and a number of apartments. However, it is important to preserve the unique character of the church. In doing so; heating a church is a challenge. That is why they come and talk to us about the solutions. We then take care of this in consultation with our suppliers. Here the choice is now made for radiant profiles that hang six meters above the ground in combination with member radiators mounted on the pillars. Together we are then engaged in product development."
Redeveloping old buildings is very hot these days. "For example, in Tilburg you have the spoorzone area where it is required that the unique architecture be preserved; the appealing and distinctive high facades and glass windows remain intact. The challenge is to heat it, taking into account such physical laws as the rising of warm air or the possible formation of condensation from cold windows. We have a solution and are happy to think along in heating all possible spaces."
