'Extraordinary combination of materials and colors'

Den Ouden Wonen & Projecten BV contributes to this with attractive floor decoration in various materials, colors and designs.

Den Ouden Wonen & Projecten supplied and laid the floor decoration on behalf of Rutges Vernieuwt, based on the design by Raumkultur. "From our technical expertise, we thought along with the contractor and architect about the execution," says director Paul den Ouden. "We made the material choices partly in consultation with the residents of Liv inn Hilversum."

Fitting, measuring and tuning

All public areas of Liv inn Hilversum - think family room, home theater, courtyard garden, living kitchen, corridors and hallway - will receive new floor decoration. A total of 2,000 square meters of marmoleum, textile floor covering, vinyl and cleaning mats are involved. Den Ouden: "What is special about this work are the decorative parts, for which we are combining different materials and colors per room. That requires good fitting, measuring and tuning." Den Ouden Wonen & Projecten also takes care of leveling and priming the floors.

Fine environment

The work in the common areas is almost finished. After that, Den Ouden Wonen & Projecten will start the floor decoration in the apartments. "This project is right up our alley," says Den Ouden. In good cooperation with Habion, Rutges Vernieuwt and Forbo, we are turning Liv inn Hilversum into a fine, lively living environment."
