Custom wall decoration and sustainability highly valued

Inspiration book full of unique solutions is also on the program

Investing in a recreational home is currently very popular. This means a lot of work for Tachup, specialists in (wall) decoration for B2B projects. "Many new homes are being built and existing cottages renewed. I supply custom (wall) decoration for these projects," says Martin Groenewege, owner of Tachup Deco Projects.

From floor to ceiling ... Tachup's goal is to take the decoration completely off your hands. "We are the spider in the web, in many areas we already have solutions completely in house. After all, we specialize in printing on many different surfaces, aluminum dibond, poplar wood, textiles, canvas, acrylic or HPL panels."

However, Tachup also has many contacts to fulfill other decorative needs. "Architects and developers engage with us because they trust our knowledge and clout. I sit down with them and take stock of where the need lies. The choice of material, the product, the printing technique, sustainability and price, everything is discussed. I am basically a spider in the web, setting things out elsewhere to achieve the desired result. So Tachup doesn't provide one product, but customized solutions."

Sustainable producers

In the search for the best decorative items, Tachup works with producers from the Netherlands and Germany. "As a result, the background of the products is always clear. I choose companies that value sustainability. Then it's about materials that can be reused, applying eco-ink and so on."

Tachup has been working for Landal for about 25 years and provides almost everything in the decoration field. From photo wallpaper and wall decorations to printing on tables. "Stylists usually already know what images they want and in what style. We then check whether those images are suitable and on what material we can apply it. If they want something on wood, is that possible? Is this indeed the look they are looking for? What processing is still needed?"

Thinking along and developing

Where necessary, Tachup also realizes completely new solutions. For example, a project in Eerbeek required LED lighting behind a decorative panel. "However, the existing solutions were not what we were looking for," Groenewege said. "So together with a lighting manufacturer with whom I often work, we developed a completely new solution. This succeeded so well that the manufacturer itself is going to include it in its product range." In this way, Tachup takes work off the client's hands. "I take care of the contact with the client and am in fact an external extension of the organization."

According to Groenewege, this has many advantages. "How nice it is to outsource a component that does not weigh down the organization as a result. Whoever partners with me knows that we will do it the way the client wants. Every project is unique, which is why we don't have a fixed offer. At the end of October, however, we will release an inspiration book. In it, previous projects are displayed in an artistic way, so that other clients can get inspiration for their project. In it is visible what the (many) possibilities are."
