The versatility of electric infrared floor heating

The versatility of electric infrared floor heating

Sustainability and energy efficiency are becoming increasingly important issues, especially when it comes to heating systems. Electric infrared floor heating is an excellent alternative to central heating boilers and a reliable and efficient choice when it comes to residential and commercial applications. In addition to homes and offices, this system can also be used on ships, in swimming pools, animal housing, steam rooms, churches and other listed buildings. But the versatility of this heating system doesn't stop there....

Flexibility at the top

The application possibilities of Speedheat heating elements are very extensive. They can be used behind walls or mirrors, in suspended ceilings, under fixed carpet or loose rugs and even on curved surfaces. Thanks to the flexibility of the Speedheat heating element, it can easily be bent into any desired shape, allowing even curved or convex walls to be heated without any problem.

Suitable for new construction and renovation

This flexibility also brings a high degree of design freedom in new construction projects. Because the 1 mm thin heating system is integrated directly into the floor, there is no need for radiators or convectors and more space is available which does not limit the interior layout.

Speedheat also offers solutions in renovation projects, such as in situations where there is a limited build-up height when installing a new floor on top of an existing floor. Speedheat's heating element is only 1 mm thin which minimizes the build-up height for the heating system.

Another advantage is that there is no cutting or breaking involved. The subfloor remains intact and the thin heating system can be installed directly on top of the existing floor if desired, possibly in combination with an insulating subfloor.

Can be placed on and under any floor

Speedheat electric infrared floor heating can be installed on virtually any subfloor, but can also be used under any finish floor, such as tile, laminate, PVC, tile, linoleum, vinyl, concrete look and carpet. Even wooden floors are no problem for Speedheat electric floor heating. The output per meter is specially adjusted to limit large temperature fluctuations and Speedheat matches the installation of the underfloor heating to the finishing floor.

Suitable both as main and auxiliary heating

Speedheat is a flexible heating system that can be used in both wet and dry rooms, both as supplementary heating in the bathroom, for example, and as main heating throughout the home for those who want to switch completely to electric heating. Advanced digital clock thermostats ensure that no unnecessary energy is wasted, and heating can be regulated on a room-by-room basis as each room has different heat requirements.

Local heating

In addition to heating individual rooms, Speedheat can also heat locally, for example under a part of the floor, such as in the sitting or dining area. In such a case, the underfloor heating can be installed only around the dining table or around the bed in the bedroom.

In short, anything can be realized with Speedheat's electric infrared floor heating!
