Sales consultant Suzanne Timmerman at Eurofelt, part of Lampe Group: "It's beautiful, but it creates a huge reverberation and reverberation in spaces such as on an office floor or in a central hallway. Our solution: 100% wool felt."
Suzanne: "We specialize in processing industrial textiles and felt. We apply this within the food industry, machine construction and also frequently in utility construction and in public and non-public spaces. We have experience and everything in house to cut, punch and confection work. For years we have also been working with designer felt; made from 100% wool felt."
The demand for wool felt in a design environment is increasing a lot, according to Suzanne: "You see felt in curtains on the wall, in baffles or baffles on the ceiling or incorporated into partition walls. It reduces reverberation and reverberation. On the one hand, it is purely for acoustics, but increasingly it also serves as an eye-catcher. In the design of a library, for example, a fictitious leaf wall was conceived. We were commissioned to create the felt leaves in various sizes, thicknesses and colors. A solution that stands out and absorbs high tones."
Eurofelt manufactures in non-residential construction on behalf of interior designers or interior designers. "For example, a steel frame was conceived as a partition wall. We cut strips of wool felt in different sizes and colors, which were wrapped around the frame. As a knowledge partner, we like to be challenged by our customers to think along with them."
