Unlumited Lighting is growing fast, explains Senior Product Manager Henk Schaap. "We are busy with many things, of course with our participation in Future Lighting, but also with our new catalog and intensified cooperation with several European lighting brands. At the fair we can show the full breadth of our product range."
Schaap continues: "The common thread of what we are doing now is focused on growing us as a company and a brand. For example, our new and improved Lighting Inspiration Center (LIC) is fully operational. In addition, our product catalog has been significantly expanded. With the products we assemble ourselves and lighting from our partners." At Future Lighting, Unlumited is showcasing both technical lighting and architectural luminaires. "We see that in lighting market there is more and more working with PET felt and other recycled materials. We are responding to this by adding accessories with pet felt to existing fixtures."
For example, Unlumited LED panels provides LED panels with a front of pet felt in a dozen different colors. In this, the customer can make any pattern or figure. "This allows you to be innovative and quirky with a led panel. In projects, you kill two birds with one stone because the fixture completely matches the rest of the interior. In addition, the light becomes slightly diffused and also has acoustic value."
Unlumited's architectural downlight series Manta (a round lamp in different diameters) has received new lamp shades made of pet felt. "Also with this fixture, our customers can create cool things, by playing with shapes and colors," he said.
Another trend, according to Schaap, is that lighting fixtures are becoming smaller and smaller. "These small spotlights also combine well with pet felt. To meet the need for small fixtures even more, we have entered into cooperation with the Belgian company Exterus. We will handle exclusive distribution for this manufacturer in the Netherlands and part of Germany. This company's small fixtures, both spherical and tubular, complement our range perfectly. They can be pinned or track mounted."
