Lighting solution for any project

Tronix Lighting is gearing up for another participation in trade show Future Lighting. Despite the event's timing, in the middle of the busy lighting season, the company sees an excellent opportunity to showcase its latest products and innovations. "For example, we are adding free-cutting high-end COB LED strips in various light colors to our offering. They are ideal for creative and precise lighting solutions," says Managing Director Maarten Verbruggen.

Verbruggen candidly shares his insights on the company's preparations and strategic choices. "November is for us, and many other companies in the lighting sector, the busiest month of the year. So it is challenging to participate in an event during this period. Nevertheless, we continue to participate because we believe in the value of this trade show. However, I am convinced that a shift to March, alternating with Light + Building, would be better timing. For example, the fair could last three days instead of two, allowing companies to better prepare for the lighting season and increase their international visibility."

During Future Lighting 2024, Tronix is unpacking a wide range of new products. "Our free-cutting COB LED strips come in lengths from 5 to 50 meters, with a CRI of >90. For projects with complex angles, we now also offer flexible and 90° connectors. This offers many application possibilities," says Verbruggen. Another innovation is the series of 3-CCT downlights with matte finish. "These luminaires are equipped with a matte reflector, which ensures optimal light distribution and a beautiful light image, without the reflector standing out. In addition, the downlights are adjustable in three colors, adjustable in power (6~15W) and available in black and white. With an optional surface mounting kit, they can also be used as surface-mounted luminaires."

Also being introduced is the new Ceiling Light Sensor. "This is a multifunctional ceiling light with an adjustable microwave motion sensor," Verbruggen says. "In addition, the ceiling light is adjustable to two color temperatures (3000K/4000K) and the light intensity is adjustable with an adjustable lumen value of 1100 and 550 Lm, respectively."

In addition to its own innovations, Future Lighting will also feature demonstrations by partner company UPRtek, a manufacturer of advanced, hand-held light meters. "The hand-held light meter UPRtek shows all light data directly on the display. This is an ideal tool for anyone who wants to make light measurements quickly and accurately." Finally, Tronix is also taking eldoLED's new high-end drivers to Gorinchem. "We are the exclusive distributor for these drivers in the Netherlands and they will be available from stock as of November," Verbruggen explains. "This series has a smaller build than this brand's current drivers, making them ideal for modern recessed applications. In addition, they are phase dimmable, which is completely new for this brand."

So there is much to discover at the Tronix Lighting booth, and Verbruggen is looking forward to making new contacts.
