Shaw Contract unveils Floor Architecture III: the ultimate collection for commercial spaces

Shaw Contract, the renowned designer and manufacturer of commercial flooring solutions, is proud to introduce its newest collection, Floor Architecture III. This groundbreaking carpet tile collection opens the door to limitless design possibilities, making it the first choice for interior designers, architects and flooring contractors.

Endless creativity, three styles, three color groups

The Floor Architecture series has always mimicked the organic beauty of natural stone, polished concrete, pebbles and small rocks. What sets Floor Architecture III apart is its limitless potential in terms of color and style combinations.

This new collection features three signature styles: Stone, Fragment and the structured geometric pattern Formation. Complementing these styles are three new color groups: Saturated, Pastel and Subtle Color Accent. The result of six months of color research, these palettes consist of 27 options - 18 unique, vibrant colors and nine neutral shades, all seamlessly blended together. The Saturated palette exudes earthy warmth and stability, the Pastel collection offers optimism and serenity, while the Subtle Colour Accent colors bring understated vibrancy to spaces.

Versatility through backings

What makes Floor Architecture III truly exceptional is its availability on three carbon-neutral and recyclable backings: EcoWorx S™, TaskWorx® and ComfortWorx®.

EcoWorx S™: This backing is made from a plastomeric polyolefin composition, 50% lighter than others, closed-loop recyclable, Cradle to Cradle® Silver certified and the world's first carpet tile with the Works-with-Well seal.

TaskWorx®: A cost-effective performance carpet tile with 75% recycled material from a 100% post-industrial recycled source.

ComfortWorx®: Designed for acoustic comfort and comfort underfoot, reduces impact sound by 50% , and improves sound absorption by 65% compared to standard carpet tiles and hard surfaces. Each square meter of ComfortWorx® tile is made from 67 PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles.

Promotes a healthy environment

Floor Architecture III is produced in a carbon-neutral manufacturing facility in Scotland and boasts certifications such as Cradle to Cradle and Indoor Air Comfort Gold®. The EcoSolution® Q100 yarn is made entirely of 100% recycled nylon fiber. The collection is optimized for low Embodied Carbon, has a 15-year warranty and can be returned to Shaw Contract at end of life through the Re[TURN] reclamation program.
