The main reason to visit Architect@Work? It is the meeting place for specifiers, such as architects and interior designers, to discover innovative products. The product innovations are carefully selected by a jury. At the end of October, the two-day fair will take place again in Amsterdam and Villeroy & Boch will be there again as an exhibitor.
Villeroy & Boch has stood for timeless elegance since 1748: more than 275 years of high-quality ceramics, sophisticated design and innovative solutions for bathroom, wellness and dining. Time and again, the brand manages to pick up new trends and even develop them itself. New examples are the Artis collection, the Octagon countertop basin and the Vea faucet collection. These collections play the leading role at the end of October during Architect@Work Amsterdam, where Villeroy & Boch is once again exhibiting.
Sinks from the Artis collection are available in four new all-matte color options: Pure Black, Almond, Nightfall and Teal. Villeroy & Boch collaborated with internationally renowned designer and color specialist Gesa Hansen, who designed four colors in line with the trend for powerful mid-tones that exude calm and security. The deep midnight blue Nightfall and the intense but calming Pure Black offer a sense of security. Almond is a soft, warm beige and Teal a vibrant blue-green. These two actually bring light and fresh accents. The Artis top bowls are available in four shapes: round, oval, square and rectangular.
Octagon is a statement piece. Minimalist on the outside, inside a sophisticated faceted pattern reminiscent of cut crystal. The perfectly octagonal shape of Octagon, what's in a name, exudes luxury and craftsmanship. "We originally developed Octagon for luxury hotels, but are now bringing it to stylish private bathrooms as well," said Sjennine ten Brinke of Villeroy & Boch. "After all, in the matte shades Stone White and Pure Black, Octagon fits seamlessly into both classic and extravagant interiors. An ideal eye-catcher."
With Vea, Villeroy & Boch shows a faucet that combines minimalist elegance with modern functionality. The slim, cylindrical design from the hand of renowned designer Christian Haas, together with its precise operation, provides subtle luxury in the bathroom. Vea also features an advanced push button for smooth, drip-free operation. The push button can optionally be finished with a ceramic coating for a modern look. The water-saving technology present combines comfort with durability. The collection is available in a variety of high-quality finishes, from timeless chrome to matte black, brushed nickel and warm gold, making Vea effortlessly compatible with a variety of interior styles and material combinations. Ten Brinke: "The well-considered dimensions make the faucet suitable for both compact basins and generous countertop bowls. This makes Vea an aesthetic eye-catcher as well as a smart choice for everyday use."
The Villeroy & Boch booth will once again be a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. Inspiring mood boards will showcase the new products and colors. The new Artis colors invite playful combinations and personal expression, while the Octagon basin is a fine example of timeless craftsmanship and high-quality materials. Ten Brinke says, "Anyone looking for color inspiration, unique shapes or pure luxury to transform the bathroom into a stylish, soothing and characterful space is welcome to discover how Villeroy & Boch takes bathroom design to the next level."
