Liesbeth's Grand Café, Horst: Sufficient ventilation thanks to electrically controlled skylights

Chosen was Teleflex's MAX spindle opener, which guarantees excellent natural ventilation flow and adequate air exchange.

Teleflex, part of Railtechniek van Herwijnen Groep, advises, supplies and assembles a wide range of mechanical and electrical window remote controls for top-hung, tilt and turn windows, skylights and domes. From (double) chain openers and linear openers to rack openers, monorail systems and sliding door hardware. For Liesbeth's Grand Café, the Tiel specialist installed eight linear spindle openers
delivered and assembled, with a weather-resistant stainless steel rod, a dust-free and spray-proof IP65 spindle motor, a supply voltage of 230 volts and an opening speed of 20 mm/second.

"The MAX spindle openers are available in opening stroke/chain strokes of 180, 300 and 500 mm," says Jesse Verheem, Marketing & Sales at Teleflex. "Because of the large window sizes combined with the average wind force, an opening stroke of 180 mm was chosen in this project. A radio remote control and receivers enable easy control per building side." 

Venetian blind switches or Wi-Fi/app control are also available upon request, he says. "In addition, wind and rain sensors can be connected to the MAX spindle openers, allowing the skylights to close automatically in bad weather."

Because Teleflex provided both the delivery and assembly of the spindle openers, Liesbeth's Grand Café is assured of a 5-year product warranty as well as 2 years of free service and maintenance.
