With climate change, rising energy costs and the desire for comfortable living, intelligent shading systems have become a central part of modern architecture. Exterior shading from Warema not only ensures pleasant indoor temperatures, but also actively reduces energy consumption for cooling and heating. Thus, it contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions and easing the burden on the environment.
Against this backdrop, Warema is presenting at Polyclose, among other things, the innovative window-system exterior blind with Zetra slat, which offers up to 25 percent more blackout compared to conventional slats. When open, the concave shaped reflective surfaces ensure efficient daylight utilization while providing high wind stability. For demanding, particularly wind-exposed facades, the Windra 80 WF flat slat was developed. It combines the filigree elegance of a flat slat with exceptional stability and guarantees reliable heat protection and flexible daylight control even under high wind loads. In addition, Warema will be showing high-quality screens and shutters suitable for new construction projects as well as energetic renovations at the trade fair.
The portfolio is complemented by sophisticated safety features such as the Warema SecuKit. This enables manual operation of the shading products in the event of an emergency or power failure, thus clearing escape and rescue routes within seconds. Sustainable aspects also take center stage: the SolarKit, which runs on solar energy, allows roller shutters and screens to be operated independently of the power grid - ideal for retrofitting without a mains connection.
Warema's extensive range of insect screens will also be on display at Polyclose. Whether they are integrated into blinds or used as stand-alone solutions, the custom-made systems such as fixed or pivot frame, pleated blinds, roller blinds, sliding doors or pivot doors keep out unwanted insects, pollen and fine dust, while at the same time providing good ventilation and thus contributing to a healthy, comfortable indoor climate and a good night's sleep.
Warema also invites you to discover the latest highlights from the Outdoor Living product world: the Lamaxa L70 slat roof, the P60 pergola awning and the K55 designer cassette awning create variable feel-good oases in the outdoors - perfect for balconies, terraces and gardens, as well as for outdoor gastronomy. With smart lighting, heat radiator or side blinds, the outdoors becomes an extension of living space for year-round use. In addition, the Caravita parasol Big Ben will be presented at the booth. With versatile equipment options such as heating, lighting and motor drive, the robust and beautifully designed large parasol offers highest comfort and weather resistance - optimal for professional use in gastronomy and hotel business.
Integral solutions for connected and future-proof building management are more popular than ever. With the WMS wireless system or the Omnexo bus system, outdoor blinds, screens and shutters can be controlled automatically and depending on the weather. Thanks to the WMS sensor system, the blinds react independently to the position of the sun, temperature and wind - for always optimal indoor climate and maximum energy efficiency. “Intelligent sun protection today is much more than just providing shade. It is an active part of energy-efficient building planning and significantly increases living comfort. We will show how this works in detail at our stand at Polyclose,” explains Roelof Rozema, Managing Director of Warema Benelux.
