During Architect@Work, Aliplast drew attention with the Miniline. These minimalist sliding windows are designed to let in an abundance of natural light while creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. "With the Miniline, we want to offer architects and homeowners a solution that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing," said Marc Mulders, Sales Manager for the Netherlands at Aliplast.
Aliplast has designed the Miniline sliding windows specifically for lovers of modern, sleek aesthetics. The subtle aluminum profiles are almost completely concealed in walls, floors and ceilings. The only visible profile is the central vertical element, which is only 20 mm wide. "We chose a design that offers maximum transparency without compromising on strength or performance," Mulders explains. "Thanks to this design, the windows can be up to 4 meters high, making an impressive architectural statement in any space."
The Miniline's minimalist profiles are designed to provide as much transparency and light as possible. In addition, the system is completely barrier-free and features an advanced dewatering system with a sloping pedestal profile that drains water to a drainage channel outside the window. "This makes the Miniline not only beautiful to look at, but also functional and durable," adds Mulders.
The windows are available in various designs, such as galandage, duo or tri-rail, and even with an open corner, allowing a seamless transition between inside and outside. Despite the generous glass areas, the Miniline meets the highest technical standards for sound insulation and air and water tightness. "With the Miniline, we can meet the specific needs of each customer and project," Mulders said.
Aliplast further refined the Miniline with a new modification: the built-in lock is now relocated to the center hook, eliminating the need for a visible handle. This creates an even sleeker and more minimalist design, with only the glass and a thin aluminum profile visible. "This modification underscores our commitment to continuous innovation. We strive to deliver products that meet the highest aesthetic and technical standards," Mulders says proudly.
In addition to its aesthetic and functional benefits, the Miniline is also a sustainable choice. Aluminum, the main material for the Miniline, has a long lifespan and is fully recyclable, contributing to a smaller ecological footprint. In addition, the Miniline's profiles are powder coated in Aliplast's own production facility to the highest quality standards. "Our powder coating offers excellent UV resistance and we offer a 25-year Seaside warranty on our full range of colors," Mulders explains.
