Depth starts at the surface

Depth begins at the surface

Structure gives bathroom furniture character and a new sensory quality. For some years now, ribbed and line structures have been a regular feature of interior design and are now also finding their way into the bathroom. The designer bathroom specialist Duravit AG applies this design element in the Balcoon, Zencha and Aurena bathroom furniture series and translates it into practical, everyday use.

Relief structures bring movement to quiet surfaces and give furniture a layered, plastic look.

Lines that shape

Vertical lines change the perception of volume and proportion. Fine ridges divide large fronts, make them appear lighter and create a subtle depth effect. Depending on the incidence of light, changing shadows are created, allowing the furniture to be perceived differently throughout the day and giving the room a lively, bright atmosphere.

Quality to feel

In addition to visual impact, the sense of touch takes on a more important role. Finely structured fronts invite you to consciously experience materials. Wood, decor and glass surfaces thus gain presence and radiate a high-quality, precise finish.
