User-friendly and durable design panels capture the hearts of architects and end users

Aesthetics, functionality and durability can go hand in hand. Arpa Industriale proves this with its unique design panels, which constantly surprise and amaze designers and end users. "Our design panels are used to finish a very wide range of interior applications," says Country Manager Benelux Rutger de Jong. "Not surprisingly, because the material lasts a long time, brings color and structure to life and is also very easy to keep clean. As an organization, we develop our products continuously, based on trends and needs in the market. Our latest STOCK and VIS collections are a telling example of this."

The Italian Arpa Industriale S.p.A. is the producer of HPL decorative board material, crowd pleasing FENIX® and one of the two proud main sponsors of UCI ProTeam cycling team ALPECIN-FENIX. In 1998 Arpa Nederland BV was founded, serving the entire Benelux region from Schiedam. From Q4-2021 this branch, together with the well-known local Dutch and Belgian distributors, will work the market even more intensively with Arpa HPL, FENIX® and GetaCore products and solutions.

"Several examples of this were on display from Oct. 17 to 21 at Prowood, where our products were on display in a wide variety and on various stands of our Belgian distributors." As an event, Prowood is primarily affiliated with the Belgian market. According to De Jong, Arpa was able to maximize its profile on the show floor, as it is precisely through its local ambassadors that the company has manifested itself on the Belgian market for many years.

Unique features

Arpa develops, produces and markets decorative board material used for applications in architecture, furniture industry, interior construction, schools, offices and healthcare, among others. The products are widely used because of their aesthetic qualities, combined with a wide range of functional properties, according to De Jong. "The products are constructed from several layers and a decorative surface, which are formed into a homogeneous product with unique properties through the combination of high pressure and heat in the press. This makes our sheet materials ideally suited as finishing layers for numerous demanding applications and projects. The rapid availability through large local stocks and the early introduction of the new STOCK and VIS collections contributes greatly to the continued success of 'Arpa's HPL and FENIX® - made in Italy - solutions." Unique features of the VIS collection include its surprising tactile touch and up to ten times higher wear value, says De Jong. "The STOCK collection consists of a made-in-Italy selection of 134 high-quality HPL decors in appealing surface finishes, which are available from stock and partly feature the super durable BLOOM core technology. Thanks to this technology, we save as much as 28% on our water consumption and 38% on our energy requirements. In addition, our ecological footprint shows as much as 20% less CO2 emissions."

The STOCK collection consists of six themes: 1. Solid colors in special textures, featuring the integrated sustainable BLOOM core technology;2. Nature-inspired wood decors;3. Elegant and appealing marble and stone decors;4. Intriguing specially developed design decors;5. Captivating metal decors;6. Special solid colors with colored core.
