Multifunctionality counts! The extractor hood as an atmosphere-enhancing lighting object

The kitchen has become the central point of the home, and a good lighting concept goes with that. After all, numerous activities take place in the kitchen, from traditional cooking and eating to (school) work. Whoever says "good lighting" is immediately talking about lighting fixtures above the table. But berbel cooker hoods also do their bit.

In winter, the nights are long and the days are short. It is still dark in the morning at breakfast and in the evening, when preparing and eating a meal, it is dark again. The importance of good lighting in the kitchen has evolved along with the importance of a kitchen in the home. "In addition to our specialist extractor technology, we have paid great attention to quality in design since the early days of berbel," we hear from the German extractor system specialist. "This naturally includes a balanced lighting concept. This is why, for example, our Skyline extractor hoods are designed in such a way that they conveniently and functionally illuminate the worktop while working there and can also provide a pleasant ambiance in the kitchen afterwards."

Polyvalent device

Berbel: "Our Skyline ceiling hoods are therefore not only powerful and whisper-quiet extractors, but also characteristic lighting objects. To achieve this, we provide each Skyline model with a functional cooking field light as well as a unique individual lighting profile. The same principle applies to every model, namely that the glare-free LED cooktop lighting can be adjusted from cold to warm white. The lighting is also always dimmable. As soon as the dishes are prepared, so the functional lighting can then be switched off after which the cooktop acts as an atmospheric lighting object in any kitchen."

Light brings the kitchen to life

The Skyline series from berbel includes a whole host of different ceiling hoods. With the Skyline Round, the German manufacturer fully responds to the trend toward more organic shapes. The round hood also radiates light upwards, creating a beautiful play of light on the ceiling.

The Skyline Edge is a sleekly designed range hood. The horizontal strip of light embraces the extractor hood, as it were, and transforms it into a decorative lighting object whose color temperature can be set as desired. For the real light fanatics, a model with RGB lighting is possible. The kitchen can thus be illuminated in any color from the RGB color palette. This also applies to the Skyline Edge Light and the Skyline Curve. The long sides of the corpus of both models contain an oblong light surface that can be optionally equipped with RGB lighting.

Skyline Frame, in turn, is the industrial ceiling shade that hides an individually adjustable effect light behind the black smoked glass fronts of the body. This changes from a rather soft blue and cool light gradient at the colder temperature setting to a softer and coppery glow in the warmer color temperature. "Ideal for a cozy and relaxing atmosphere
