 From Monday February 6 to Saturday February 11, 2023 is the week of circular economy, exactly in the same week of the Bouwbeurs 2023. Coincidence or not, Derbigum will be on a beautiful stand at the Bouwbeurs that week with the most sustainable product in the field of roofing. 

No Roof To Waste

After years of experience and research, Derbigum has launched a unique program called: No Roof To Waste. This system treats and processes cutting and production waste into new raw material: Derbitumen. Derbitumen forms the basis of the NT line, consisting of Derbicoat NT (underlayment) and Derbigum NT (top layer). Derbigum NT is KOMO-certified, has a DUBO quality mark and is supplied with a take-back certificate. This means that at the end of their service life, the roofing membranes are taken back for recycling by Derbigum. That completes the circle! 

It is currently the most sustainable choice in roofing. Derbigum NT is also listed in the National Environmental Database as a Category 1 product with the lowest MKI value of any roofing material. 

Derbigum's white roofing material

Derbicolor FR White is a roofing material finished with a white shingle, because of the glass/polyester reinforcement it has a very strong tensile and punching resistance. Besides providing a beautiful aesthetic image, the white slate chipping also provides sunlight reflection. Derbicolor FR White therefore functions excellently as a passive cooling system, especially in cities. In summer, the heat will easily be kept outside. The air conditioner runs less, which in turn saves on energy costs. Solar panels also have a higher efficiency if you choose Derbicolor FR White. 

Sustainable

Derbicolor FR White is an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution. Like other Derbigum roofing membranes, this product has a lifespan of 40 years. So you have extra long enjoyment from your roofing. In addition, at the end of its life, this product is also 100% recyclable. This allows Derbigum to use this secondary raw material in the production of new roofing membranes.
