ZINKINFO LAUNCHES THE ZINKINFO GALVANIZING AWARDS 2027

Zinkinfo Benelux invites architects, clients, engineering firms, steel fabricators, and contractors to submit exceptional projects featuring hot-dip galvanized steel for the Zinkinfo Galvanizing Awards 2027. Projects may be submitted through November 15, 2026.

With the Zinkinfo Galvanizing Awards 2027, Zinkinfo Benelux is highlighting inspiring and innovative applications of hot-dip galvanized steel.

Hot-dip galvanizing offers designers, construction professionals, and clients numerous advantages. Its long service life, ease of maintenance, and potential for reuse make it a particularly sustainable corrosion protection system. At the same time, hot-dip galvanized steel has a unique appearance. Through the natural aging process, the material develops its characteristic patina over the years.

Five categories

Projects may be submitted in five categories:

– Buildings

– Infrastructure, Mobility & Public Space

– Distinctive steel elements

– Duplex (galvanizing + coating)

– Circular construction*

*In the Circular Construction category, design based on circularity takes center stage. The galvanized steel structure—and, by extension, the entire project—is designed so that the galvanized steel components can be disassembled and reused in a future project.

Book and extensive visibility 

All participating projects will be featured in a special book published by Zinkinfo Benelux and widely distributed to clients, architects, engineering firms, steel fabricators, and contractors, among others.
In addition, the submitted projects will be featured through Zinkinfo Benelux’s communication channels. They will be published on the website and promoted on platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.

Independent jury
An independent panel of experts evaluates the submissions, selects the nominated projects, and ultimately chooses the winners of the Zinkinfo Galvanizing Awards 2027.
