Shaw Contract expands carbon-neutral 'Rapid Select' collection with 'New Neutrals'

Shaw Contract is proud to announce the introduction of five specially selected neutral shades to its proven Rapid Select collection. Rapid Select is known as the best flooring choice for professionals looking for a quick turnaround without compromising on quality, performance or design.

The addition of these warmer and lighter neutral tones increases the versatility of the existing Graph, Nook and Roam styles. This expands the creative possibilities for commercial interiors and educational institutions.

Extensive color palette for even more creativity

The revamp of the collection introduces a new dynamic to the color spectrum of the various styles. Graph and Nook now feature 13 colorways, while Roam has eight. This expansion offers professionals an even greater range of options to customize any commercial space to their exacting standards.

Commitment to carbon neutrality and low carbon uptake

The Rapid Select collection is now carbon neutral and has been optimized for low carbon emissions. This is done by using Shaw Contracts EcoSolution Q100™ fiber. EcoSolution Q100™ is a high-performance nylon fiber made from 100% recycled material. This helps reduce the Global Warming Potential (GWP) of Shaw Contract products. Rapid Select is produced in a carbon-neutral factory in Scotland, underscoring Shaw Contract's commitment to sustainability.

Promoting material health and well-being

Rapid Select is available with TaskWorx® and ComfortWorx® backings. The collection not only supports carbon neutrality, but also prioritizes recyclability and material health. Designed for acoustic comfort and comfort underfoot, ComfortWorx® reduces impact noise by 50% and improves sound absorption by 65%, compared to standard carpet tiles and hard surfaces. In the process, each square meter is made from 67 PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic bottles.

The collection is curated in line with Shaw Contract's commitment to transparency and care for the environment. It is accompanied by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and boasts Cradle-to-Cradle® and Indoor Air Comfort Gold® certifications for low VOC emissions.

The new additions to the Rapid Select collection are designed to inspire creativity, support material health and revitalize commercial projects.
