DMLUX has been a major player in the field of industrial lighting for many years. With high-quality luminaires manufactured by reputable partners such as Lithuanian company Northcliffe, the company offers lighting that is both efficient and qualitative, with a low carbon footprint. DMLUX offers more than that, however. "We see more and more potential in functionally decorative luminaires for office environments," says managing director Orlando Koorn. "These not only illuminate a space, but also contribute to the appearance of the interior."
With its focus on functional decorative lighting, DMLUX is increasingly positioning itself as a one-stop shop for professional lighting solutions. "We find that in the crowded marketplace, companies prefer to work with one party that can provide the complete lighting plan, advice and logistics," says Koorn. This approach is appreciated by customers, especially now that DMLUX can offer solutions for a variety of environments with a wider range of products. These range from industrial warehouse lighting to luxury lighting for executive offices.
This shift within DMLUX is particularly evident in the luminaires of three brands from the manufacturer PROLED Group, which DMLUX represents in the Netherlands. For example, the PROLED brand offers a wide range of products, including LED strips, downlights and stylish spotlights that fit within interior architectural designs. Another PROLED Group brand is Uni-Bright, which focuses on functionally decorative lighting at an accessible price. These products are ideal for office situations, but can also be used well in residential projects.
To provide high-end decorative luminaires as well, DMLUX added the PROLED brand mawa to its range this year. German mawa combines high-end LED technology with craftsmanship and has won numerous design awards. The brand is known for its premium quality and is widely used in museums, public spaces and high-end office buildings. mawa's own production in Germany ensures sustainable, innovative lighting of top quality. "We are proud to be able to offer this premium range in the Netherlands," Koorn said.
DMLUX expects to introduce further decorative and functional products in 2025, including new luminaires from Northcliffe with acoustic features. These solutions are ideal for modern office situations, where noise reduction and aesthetics go hand in hand. The emphasis on sustainability also remains strong. New regulations will also come into effect next year for government projects, something DMLUX is looking forward to. "We produce largely in Europe and have always been compliant. With products that have a low carbon footprint and are recyclable, the sustainability story is completely right with us," Koorn said. "We sometimes forget to say this because it's very normal for us."
