What were the projects of the month?

What were the projects of the month?

May, June and July 2024

Last December, the first award ceremony took place. Indeed, on the estate of Castle de Vanenburg in Putten, everything that had been set up in the previous 12 months came together: the company Trespa and trade magazine Archicomm presented the first "Project of the Year Award. TBE-ZA Architects and Engineers from Volendam won the award with the Royal Edam project.

During the well-attended event - so close to Christmas - it already became clear that it would not stop at that one time and that it would be made an annual award ceremony. The reactions were positive. In addition, all architects present saw that the presentations on stage contributed to a useful exchange of knowledge and that just being in Putten offered new networking potential.

And all that means that in each edition of your trade journal Archicomm this year, we will discuss a number of projects that have now been chosen as 'Project of the Month' and are thus competing for the highest honor: ultimately winning the 'Project of the Year Award 2024'. Another vibrant meeting is expected to take place this December! But you can read about that too in this magazine and online at www.archicomm.nl.

For specific questions about the Award ceremony, please contact organizer Jim Wolters, Façade account manager at Trespa in Weert (phone: 0495 - 458 358) or Folkert van der Werf, project manager at Louwers Mediagroep / Archicomm (phone: 0495 - 450 095).

Project of the month for May

The Lark, Halsteren

Lark Halsteren 3

The De Leeuwerik apartment complex in Halsteren is a wonderful example of sustainable renewal! Thanks to the collaboration between Stadlander, RoosRos Architects and Bouwgroep Schrijver, a building has been transformed into a modern and energy-efficient residential complex. The design retains characteristic elements such as the name and bird 'Lark', and uses Trespa® Meteon® Titanium Bronze panels for a vibrant and harmonious look. This project meets the highest standards for fire safety and sustainability, with a goal of zero-to-the-meter.

Project of the month for June

Cultura, Ede

Cultura 1

After its renovation, the center for arts culture in Ede, Cultura, is all set to welcome visitors to the library and theater in its new entrance. The entrance on Molenstraat is still easily recognized by its familiar tubular shape and gives a nod to the mill 'Concordia' a stone's throw away. For this project the Trespa Meteon® Milano Grigio - NW17 was applied in a matt finish, important was that the new decor of sheet material would match as the design was originally intended.
