"Many people do not know half how many light sources there are and what you can do with them," begins Koen de Graaf, Sales & Marketing Director of Bailey Electric & Electronics. "We don't want that to be forgotten and therefore specialize in a huge range of these light sources, which are real eye-catchers in a project."
In an instant, a special atmosphere that completely suits the room. That, according to Bailey, is possible with the company's light sources. "The rise of LED lighting brought with it all kinds of new possibilities. In 2016, we started making special light sources with LED, based on the ball wire incandescent lamp." Bailey does this with several, mostly self-developed, Bailey Lights brands. The Spiraled brand includes light sources that are strongly reminiscent of an original incandescent bulb, but also consider the Bottled bottle-shaped series.
However, Bailey's range includes many more unusual shapes: from a heart, a teapot, a bird to a puffer fish. This is just a small sample of the total range, which also includes the classic light sources that are usually hidden in a fixture. However, this is certainly not the case with these products. "We would like to create more awareness for these light sources, which fit any project and are easy to change. Are you changing your restaurant? Then you just choose a different shape or color."
Because of the new possibilities offered by LED, Bailey now comes up with the Spiraled laser and ring. "Basically we are playing with the filament, which does not draw the glass shape, but rather the contours. This is the latest trend. Because we do the assembly ourselves, series production has become less important; we can respond quickly to new trends. This started with glass shapes, then followed by colors, and now we make shapes like a Christmas tree or a heart with the filament. We step into niche markets that are not interesting enough or too specific for others."
The company's flexibility is one of Bailey's core values. In addition, service, wide product range and data management are central. "Not only our lamps are special. Over the years we have built up a huge database with more than 45,000 article numbers. So customers can almost always find the product they are looking for, or a suitable alternative."
