As of today, the BNA officially continues under the name Royal Association of Dutch Architectural Offices. Along with this change, the association is introducing a new corporate identity and website. This step marks an important transition in the 183-year history of the BNA.
"The architectural profession faces major social and technological challenges," said Anne Schroën, director of the Royal BNA. "That's why we want to be a union that gives direction, creates space and offers opportunities. Our new identity underlines that we play a topical and substantive role that marks and matters to the construction column."
The Royal BNA is an interest group that strengthens, connects and represents. In a time of social and technological transition, the BNA opts for clarity, simplicity and reliability.
The corporate identity is designed as a functional system. The logo is a simple word image, without a pictorial mark, with graphic elements that refer to design freedom, interpretation and spatiality.
