Clean lines and organic forms go hand in hand. At Architect@Work Rotterdam, Xinnix demonstrated how minimalist design and functional innovation can reinforce each other. The Belgian company presented its latest innovation there: the Roma arched door, which combines the characteristic softness of a curved shape with the sleek aesthetics of a hidden door.
A strong interior design is all in the details. Materials, lines, and volumes come together to form a unified whole, and doors play an important role in this. Xinnix develops door systems that intentionally remain in the background: their seamless integration into the wall creates a sleek and timeless interior look.
The name Xinnix perfectly captures the concept: ‘I see nothing.’ The invisible interior doors are installed without traditional door frames. An aluminum frame is built into the wall
integrated, so that the door and wall form a single unit. This approach makes the systems suitable for a wide range of projects, from private homes and apartments to offices, public buildings, museums, and hospitality establishments. The hinged doors meet current technical requirements and are certified for fire-resistant, smoke-resistant, burglar-resistant, and acoustic applications.
Architects and building owners enjoy a great deal of flexibility with Xinnix. Different profiles and door thicknesses can be combined with a variety of technologies and locking solutions, such as magnetic locks, badge systems, and access control. The doors come standard with 3D-adjustable hinges and a Xinnix magnetic lock, but can be customized to meet the specific requirements of the project. The possibilities are also extensive in terms of finish and functionality. From electric multi-point locks to door closers and other technologies, the system can be tailored to the specific application.
New to the lineup are the Roma arched doors, which add a soft, architectural touch to the interior. The elegant arch shape subtly breaks up straight lines and creates a refined transition between different spaces. At the same time, the minimalist Xinnix philosophy remains intact: just like the other Xinnix systems, the Roma is seamlessly integrated into the wall, allowing the door and architecture to form a single, harmonious whole.
In addition to flat-panel interior doors, the product line also includes fully integrated sliding doors. Both wood and glass versions can slide completely into the wall, in a single or double configuration. Dimensions up to 3,500 mm high and 3,000 mm wide are available.
For projects that require a different type of movement or appearance, self-closing pivoting doors are available. These can be mounted centrally or flush with the wall and are available in sizes up to 1030 x 3015 mm, with a maximum door weight of 100 kg.
The wall finish can also be designed entirely in line with this philosophy. With its XP50 baseboards, Xinnix has developed solutions that integrate into the wall, thereby contributing to a uniform, minimalist look.
Xinnix supports professionals not only with products, but also with expertise and guidance. In the Xinnix showroom, architects, contractors, and carpenters can explore the various options together with their clients and determine the right solution for their project. In addition, Xinnix organizes training sessions where professionals learn how to install the systems correctly, sustainably, and efficiently.
