This year Internova was present at Architect@Work for the first time, showcasing the company's professional lighting. The specialist offers functional lighting that is custom-made in the Netherlands. With endless possibilities, the products are very attractive to architects.
"My colleagues visited the previous edition and were convinced we had to be here," says sales manager Thomas van Dijk. "We have specialized in retail and hospitality lighting since 1996. For this we work together with our customers, including architects. They are very enthusiastic about our products and we want to do more with that, at the fair we want to increase our awareness among architects."
Van Dijk is enthusiastic about the concept of the fair. "The fact that all the companies are showing one new product creates a good concentration of innovation. We are concentrating on a 48-volt track system that can be used on and in the wall or ceiling. This is an extremely compact system where you can very easily snap in spotlights and decorative hanging fixtures. The track system can be completely plastered in so that it blends in with the architect's design. Wireless operation is also possible. The advantage is that it is a very compact system. That makes architects happy. Most of the rail systems available are more substantial and designed for stores and restaurants. Our rail system is therefore practical and architecturally sound."
Internova's goal is to expand the brand at Architect@Work: "Wholesalers and lighting brands are already familiar with us, but now we want architects and designers to get to know us better too. We have several strengths. For example, almost all of our luminaires are made by us in the Netherlands. Assembly takes place in Breda, which assures architects and end customers of the latest technology and transparency about the components used. We therefore also give a five-year warranty on our products. Because we do it ourselves, we have a lot of freedom: there are endless possibilities regarding the amount of light, light color, way of dimming and light beam. We also work out 3D light calculations for our clients, which complement the architect's interior plan. We find that a 3D presentation makes the success rate of a project much higher."
