One stop shop for lighting

SG Lighting A/S is a company of Norwegian origin. The lighting producer of indoor and outdoor luminaires was founded in 1990. The company is now present in 25 countries. From Mechelen, SG Lighting supplies the Benelux , DACH, UK and France. 

"We have been active in Belgium for many years and are increasingly investing in the Dutch market," says Country Manager Benelux Judith Keirsmaekers. "We have development and production in our own hands, with production units in China and Denmark. As a result, SG Lighting guarantees a very good price/quality ratio."

Fast delivery total package 

"The warehouse space in Mechelen has been doubled to 5000 m² in order to keep even more stock so that we can supply our customers with our products even faster. We mainly focus on the residential market, but are also very active in the tertiary and indus-trial market. As a company we want to offer a total package of lighting, both standard functional lighting and the 'specials'. We are able to quickly supply a different color or size. Thanks to the diversity in our offering, we really are a One Stop Shop." 

SG Lighting specializes in both indoor and outdoor lighting. "On these we provide a warranty of up to 10 years, on both fixtures, components and drivers. Our outdoor lighting has a 10-year warranty against corrosion. We can live up to this thanks to the use of robust materials that can withstand the Nordic weather conditions." 

According to Keirsmaekers, the company's focus is on the installer, but certainly also on the architect. "We would like even more professionals to get to know our range and discover what we have to offer. To this end, we have hired more staff. Our strengths include our overall range and robust quality, but SG Lighting does not only stand for solidity and quality. In recent years, we have been paying more and more attention to design. Design has become more important, without losing sight of quality."

Design models for indoor and outdoor use

 "We are constantly innovating. Within our current range, several fixtures are very popular with architects. Artes, for example, is an attractive, decorative model for wall mounting outdoors or indoors. The fixture is made of pressure-cast and powder-coated aluminum and is dimmable with phase cut dimmer." 

The lamp additionally offers the possibility of individual stepwise adjustment of the light angle/light distribution upward and/or downward. Up-/downlight can be switched off if desired. Keirsmaekers continues: "Inspire is a state-of-the-art and ultra-slim luminaire with a powder-coated white or black surface. The cubic black reflectors work very well against glare in direct light. In addition, the fixture features indirect light. As a result, this model fits well in offices and above desktops. Multiple Inspire fixtures can be mechanically connected together in a row." 

SG Lighting's new catalog, which includes many new models, will be released in March.
