Whether it’s a townhouse or a multi-story residential building, generous windows, varied parapet designs, and custom facade designs are all hallmarks of modern architecture. Against this backdrop, Warema is expanding its VisioNeo Sun and Single railing systems with safety glass to include new variants featuring bar fences, beam profiles, and combined designs. This system solution combines proven safety, easy installation, and design flexibility to meet a wide range of architectural requirements.

With this expansion, the VisioNeo railing system is now available in five different versions, each of which meets specific aesthetic and functional requirements. The tried-and-true VisioNeo Glass variant, featuring a glass infill mounted on guides, combines reliable fall protection with a high degree of transparency and an unobstructed view to the outside. VisioNeo Rail is suitable as a classic railing system with vertical spacing for cleanly structured, functional facades and can also be used with varying parapet heights or in combination with fixed glazing. VisioNeo Crossbar is characterized by horizontal profiles that allow for one- to three-part safety elements and are particularly effective for deep window sills and asymmetrical facades.
or varying parapet heights. The combined VisioNeo Rail’n’Crossbar and VisioNeo Glass’n’Crossbar variants combine rail and glass elements, respectively, with additional profiles, creating even more design possibilities.
The powder-coated railing profiles for VisioNeo Sun and Single are included in the Warema delivery as coordinated system components. The various models can be combined with one another and are suitable for both new construction and renovations, as well as for replacing windows in existing buildings. In all models, concealed screw connections, flush profiles, and unobtrusive technical details ensure discreet integration into the facade.

All VisioNeo variants have been tested in accordance with DIN and ÖNORM standards, have complete structural analysis documentation, and do not require individual approval (ZiE) in Germany and Austria. This provides certainty during the planning phase and facilitates their use in projects. The foundation for this is a uniform system architecture designed as a platform solution featuring a patented clamping mechanism. A single, uniform installation principle applies: identical connections, no additional fastening points, and fasteners included in the delivery.

In addition, VisioNeo—in its VisioNeo Single and VisioNeo Sun system variants—is compatible with all guide rail combinations offered by Warema and suitable for standard mounting surfaces. Another advantage: the railing system and the sun protection can be integrated onto a single shared guide rail—saving space in terms of installation depth and without any restrictions for Warema’s exterior blinds, roller shutters, or window screens. “With the expansion of VisioNeo, we offer a system that can be flexibly adapted to various architectural requirements, featuring a familiar installation process, proven safety, and seamless integration of the sun protection,” explains Thomas Wiesmann, head of the Window System division at Warema.
