Eurofast offers a wide range of fasteners for mechanical fastening of flat roof and roof and wall systems, for both industrial and commercial buildings. In addition, the company offers optimal support, from advice to the construction site.
Eurofast celebrated its 45th anniversary on April 1 and has grown significantly in recent years. Frank van Kalkeren: "We now employ a total of more than 150 people. In the last three years, our logistics and assembly departments have expanded considerably. We celebrated our 45th anniversary internally. After all, our staff really pulled out all the stops to serve our customers. Therefore, we felt they deserved attention."
"Our loyal customer base chooses us because we have the right materials in stock, but also because we think with them. We support them in advice, therein lies our added value." The origins of the Deurne-based company are in flat roof fasteners. "We are a full service technical agency. When a roofing structure needs to be fastened, the question arises, 'How are we going to fasten this best?' We then come on site and consult with the customer on the best mechanical fastening solution. As an additional service, we also make wind load calculations to go with this."
Eurofast goes even further, during the start of the work, the company also provides instructions on the best way to attach the roofing and insulation on site.
"About ten years ago we started with fasteners for roof and wall applications. In 2019, we acquired a Polish supplier and as a result we can now supply a full metal cladding program. A few years ago we added to our expertise by obtaining an agency of the Swiss Rogger® RSD system."
This system makes it possible to create ventilated facades. Cold bridges are largely eliminated by the core point of the system; the spacer screw with the fiberglass reinforced sheathing and the plug that goes with it. In addition, the insulation is always connected throughout with no thermal breaks. "Traditionally, a wooden or metal substructure is mounted first, with the visible cladding on top. As a result, the insulation is locally interrupted and therefore thermal bridges occur. Four years ago we started with the first recommendations and now the first projects with this system are completely finished. With the Rogger® RSD system, architecturally ventilated facades are possible."
For this product, too, Eurofast provides intensive supervision. "We provide the right materials, calculations and work supervision."
