Versatile rail systems offer solution for any building

'What doesn't exist as standard, we develop to order'

Henderson Nederland specializes in sliding systems to slide not only sliding doors, but almost any object. "Our products are also widely used for facades," says René van den Biggelaar of Henderson Nederland BV. "For example, our track systems can be used for blinds, but also for barn doors and entire folding walls, manually or electrically. The possibilities are diverse."

One product that is regularly placed in front of facades is Shutter Slide. "This rail system is suitable for putting solar panels up to 120 kg in front of your window, but you can basically hang anything from it. Shutter Slide forms a straight line. You can then easily slide the solar panels back and forth, electrically if necessary." 

Shutter Slide uses the sliding rail systems Husky 100 and Soltaire 120. "Recently we started working with the improved Husky Pro. A wider opening makes the system easier to install. Thus, we have made several adjustments to facilitate installation and increase ease of use. The rails are now even better in all respects."

Need even more flexibility? Then there is the Traverse parking wall. This fitting allows doors and (wall) panels to be moved in various ways: sliding straight or around corners and in a stacking function completely free of the opening. It is a small and compact rail, suitable for panels up to 150 kg. "With this you can move solar panels. For a luxury villa, we used this system around the entire property. The owner can place his black slats wherever we want. In winter they are neatly parked. The possibilities of this product are diverse, for outside, but of course also for inside." 

Henderson provides a custom solution for every project. "You can't think of anything, or we can provide a solution. In addition to our product range, which is fully featured in our new catalog, we develop together with our partners what does not exist as standard to measure. For example, we created a solution for 450 energy-saving sliding shutters for a hotel in the Amstel Quarter in Amsterdam. When entering the hotel room, they open automatically and the guest can operate them. When leaving the room, they close again." 

Henderson Netherlands designed and manufactured special profiles for this purpose. "In addition, we adapted the firmware and model of the motor so that the shutters open and close silently."

For the Quartz project in Brussels, the company collaborated on a solution for solar control iron folding curtains. "For this application, we used two systems, a combination of Soltaire 250 and the Evolve L1 system. Each curtain system has its own motor and specially developed materials in order to attach and fold the iron curtains."
