New AA 5110 sliding system from Kawneer offers optimal insulation even at height

Now that good insulation values are more important than ever, Kawneer is filling a need with the AA 5110 system. To optimize the insulation value, Kawneer developed a unique three-dimensional thermal barrier. The AA 5110 allows glass packages of 56 mm as standard. Combined with a permissible sash weight of 400 kg, this provides an insulation value (Uw) of up to 0.85 W/m²K (at Ug 0.5 and a height of 2.3 and width of 3 meters).

In addition to its strong thermal properties, the AA 5110 meets burglar resistance classes RC2 and WK2 as standard according to EN 1627 and NEN 5096. Not to mention the modular structure of the system, which makes it easy and fast to produce. Huvers: "The AA 5110 can easily be combined with other Kawneer products. Think for example of our RT 72 Reflex, HI+ frames and AA 100 Q curtain walls. The combination of our systems provides a unified facade appearance for any project."
