BMI Monier introduces new colors

BMI Monier introduces new colors

For several classic, ceramic Dutch roof tiles, BMI Monier is introducing a number of new, contemporary colors. The new colors are a response to market demand for tough colors such as gray and black. When renovating or building a new building with a classic look, there are now even more options to give the roof the desired look.

True classics in anthracite

BMI Monier has been producing the true classic Dutch roof tiles, and all accessories, in the original sizes in an artisanal manner since the beginning of the last century. This range contributes to the preservation of the classic Dutch roofing landscape. The Tuile du Nord, the Grote Romaanse and the Kruispan are now available in anthracite. Each of them is produced in a traditional way with the latest technology and provided with an even engoblayer. The quality of these roof tiles guarantees years of optimal aesthetic and functional performance. The color anthracite can be used in renovation projects where the existing color is replaced by a more contemporary color or in the construction of a new building with a classic look.
Tuile du Nord, Great Romanesque and Cross tile are now available in seven different colors.

VH-Variable in graphite gray and noble black

Another classic is the Improved Hollow Variable. This roof tile has a distinctive V-shaped extra water guide that makes water run off faster. The slight undulation of this roof tile gives the roof a peaceful look. The VH-Variable was already available in thirteen different colors. The two additions consist of a graphite-gray roof tile that features a beautiful even engoble layer and a noble-black roof tile that features a full dark noble engobe. The dark body color of both variants ensures that saw cuts, such as at the valley gutter and other roof penetrations, are virtually invisible. This creates a very clean, plain end result.

All attachments also in the new colors

At BMI Monier, the roof is not viewed as a collection of individual components, but as a complete system. All fasteners and roof system components are also developed and produced in-house, customized for each individual roof system. This means that all accessories such as flashings, ventilation tiles, flashings and buckling tiles are available in the right size and color. Each BMI Monier roof therefore forms an aesthetic and technical whole.

Classic roof elements in any color

BMI Monier has been committed to preserving the classic Dutch roofing landscape for years. Ornaments, special tiles or deviating joints are often iconic elements of a classic roof. These elements are usually no longer (standard) available. Therefore, the factory in Tegelen regularly manufactures custom-made classic roofing elements in the desired color on a project basis. The special elements are ready within six to eight weeks.
